ABOUT THE MUSEUM | MISSION STATEMENT
The Czech Museum has been established with the purpose of preserving, collecting, exhibiting, researching, and interpreting a collection of artifacts and archival material related to Czech history and culture.
The Czech Museum online gallery will be opening soon and will serve the public by imparting knowledge through multiple perspectives on Czech culture, tradition, history, and customs. The Museum will achieve this through its emphasis on exhibits, publications, research, and educational programs, including lectures, films, plays, and concerts, that highlight the richness of Czech culture and ideas.
The Czech Museum’s aim is to preserve the knowledge of Czech (including Bohemian, Moravian, Silesian, and Slovak) immigrants to the United States and Canada, and to promote the great contributions made by Czechs to worldwide to cultural, intellectual, industrial, and social life.
